How we create your bag
The first step in creating a bag is the design. From that, there's the realization of the model in 2 dimensions and then the prototype in 3 dimensions, made using special materials.
The goal is to design a bag that is constantly up to date, that meets the needs of the customers who will wear it and, at the same time, that maintains that touch of originality and quality that distinguishes Infinity Firenze productions.
Once the model has been perfected in accordance with the customer's requests, we can proceed with the creation of the product which can be summarized in 7 processing phases.
STEP 1: SELECTION AND CUTTING OF LEATHER
Leather cutting is a task that requires extreme precision and above all the ability to recognize the qualities and defects of the leather with which you are working; during the cutting phase the support materials and linings are also selected and prepared.
STEP 2: LEATHER PREPARATION
The cut hides are split and beveled in order to make them suitable for the type of processing required by the bag being created.
STEP 3: CHOICE OF ACCESSORIES
All the accessories that will complement the bag are chosen and prepared: small metal parts, zippers, yarn for stitching
STEP 4: ASSEMBLY
The finished pieces are assembled by hand starting to shape the bag
STEP 5: SEAMS
This is a very important and delicate moment in the creation of a bag as making a sewing error on the leather would compromise the leather making the product irreparably damaged. The seams require meticulous care and a lot of attention.
STEP 6: FINAL FINISHES
The product is finished in detail mainly by hand; the bag is carefully examined and perfected with the addition of all the accessories and metal components, with the polishing and dyeing of the edges, with the hot stamping of any scratches and with the franking of the final seams.
STEP 7: PACKAGING
The finished bag is carefully filled and wrapped in soft tissue paper and placed in a fabric bag to be delivered to the customer.
